Rainy weather

Rain always plays a pleasant role in bringing down temperature, but in the winter rain turns the weather cool and allows people to enjoy cool days with their family and friends (“Rain lashes parts of UAE; lowest temperature 5.6˚C recorded in Al Ain,” Dec.23, Gulf Today website).

According to the report, various areas in the UAE on Monday witnessed precipitation of varying intensity due to the country being affected by an unstable weather state that is expected to continue until Thursday, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). This state may see a shallow air depression from the southeast, coinciding with an air depression in the upper atmosphere. The development of these weather systems is accompanied by a cold air mass and an upper air current from the west, leading to the formation of clouds and rainfall, the NCM added.

In the UAE, the month of December is a month of festivities. In the season of festivities cool and cloudy weather offers pleasant conditions for festive activities.
