Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has organised the fourth edition of Hatta Cultural Nights, highlighting the cultural and natural riches of Hatta scheduled from 22nd December 2024 to 1st January 2025, at Hatta Heritage Village providing amazing experiences through heritage, arts, and entertainment. This event aligns with Hatta Master Development Plan led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum aimed at the development of Hatta into a destination for tourism, business, and investments.
The event highlights the historical and cultural significance of Hatta, providing visitors with an immersive experience. It is also filled with poetry from local poets, traditional Emirati performances like Al Harbiya, Al Ayala, and Al Azi, and traditional musical performances with instruments like the Rababa and Oud. All those seeking for a more hands-on cultural experience can participate in the interactive workshops on astronomy, Arabic calligraphy, and the traditional crafts of Talli embroidery, Sadu weaving, and palm frond weaving.
Family-friendly events include bubble and balloon shows, classic car displays, motorbike tours, and traditional children’s games inclusive of festive and educative atmosphere. The highlight of the event is the traditional market, where local families and entrepreneurs showcase their handmade crafts and innovative products.
