The news of the arrest of 15 criminals over phone scams by the Ajman Police is highly laudable (“Ajman Police arrest gang of 15 over phone scams,” Dec.28, Gulf Today website).
The Ajman Police have arrested a gang of fifteen Asians involved in fraudulent activities. The suspects had been deceiving people by requesting that they update their banking information or official documentation.
Criminal gang who uses Whatsapp messages and phone calls, presents themselves as bank employees, pressuring people to share their bank accounts and passwords will face the consequences. Hats off to the Ajman Police who arrested a gang of 15 over phone scams in a special operation against criminals.
