The official announcement of the truce with Hamas from Israel is the biggest news of the world which spreads happiness on the faces of masses all over the globe (“Israel says truce with Hamas begins,” Jan.19, Gulf Today website).
According to the report, Israel on Sunday said a truce with Hamas began in Gaza at 0915 GMT, nearly three hours after initially scheduled, following a last-minute delay on the orders of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. During the delay, Gaza’s civil defence agency said Israeli strikes killed eight people.
War is not a solution to any conflict between nations. War only can produce destruction, financial and human losses, and hatred among nations.
During the war between Israel and Hamas the poor people suffered a lot. The war claimed thousands of innocent men, women and small children. Gaza has now been completely destroyed. Schools, colleges and hospitals are totally destroyed in Gaza.
As the sense of peace has prevailed between Israel and Hamas, it’s time to celebrate the truce between two warring parties. Celebrate the exchange of prisoners. Celebrate the emerging vibes of a peaceful solution to the deadly conflict between Israel and Palestine.
Where there’s a will, there’s a way. Nothing is impossible in the world. Peaceful negotiation is the only solution to any longstanding conflict. It’s time to build Gaza again and allow life to breathe in a peaceful environment.
