The rule of law in the country is the main pillar of any nation and country’s success, development and prosperity. The policing and justice system of the United Arab Emirates is an exemplary for the whole world (“Two get 6-month jail, fined Dhs6,200 for stealing 2 electric bikes in Dubai,” Jan.26, Gulf Today website).
According to the report, Dubai Criminal Court sentenced two Arabs to six months in jail and fined them Dhs6,200, for stealing two electric bicycles from a designated parking lot in front of a shopping center in the Marina area.
The United Arab Emirates is the only country where people from more than 150 countries live together with full independence, honour and dignity where the country’s law is equal for all.
It’s so unfortunate that some of the many expatriates who get a chance to live and work in the United Arab Emirates to support their family back home get indulged in criminal activities and pay the heavy price for their wrongdoing.
The policing and justice system of the United Arab Emirates is exemplary. Nobody is above the law. Some criminal elements in the society think they play smart, do crimes and get away from it. But, the policing and justice system of the country makes sure that any criminal activity will be dealt with according to the country’s law.
