Rethink strategy

India’s approach is under fire, after their defeat at Rajkot to England. Our Captain, Suryakumar Yadav’s struggle to score runs, do highlight the risk of all out aggression in T20 cricket. No doubt, we do have the best top order batsmen in the world. But their aggression, right from ball one, especially world’s best bowlers like Archer & Wood, has definitely hurt our team cause.

Atleast a couple of players should have patience to give company to the aggressors. Incidentally, the selection of playing XI seems to be biased and quota system.

Persisting with non-performing players is proving to be the bane for our team defeats. Hence, it is time for our think tank to pull up their socks and re-evaluate their strategies to win the remaining matches and the series.
