The “Come Closer” campaign launched by Mleiha National Park will definitely draw attention of the residents and guests from all over the world as it is a cornerstone of Sharjah’s commitment to preserving its rich historical and ecological heritage (“Mleiha National Park launches ‘Come Closer’ campaign,” Feb.3, Gulf Today website).
According to the report, this new initiative underscores the park’s mission to offer an immersive experience, transporting visitors through over 200,000 years of human existence and natural wonder. The 34.2 sq km park was established under the Emiri Decree by His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to protect and preserve this important region.
As the Emirate of Sharjah is a home of rich culture and heritage, I am sure the “Come Closer” campaign will get the attention of millions of residents and visitors. The Mleiha National Park will emerge as one of the top tourist destinations in the coming days.
