Indeed exciting!

I am very excited for the ICC Men’s Championship Trophy, which is scheduled to begin from Wednesday in Pakistan. Excitement is palpable in Pakistan and elsewhere. I am also planning to watch most of the matches from the stadium.

Hosts Pakistan will face New Zealand on Feb.19. New Zealand looks a very good side at the moment, Pakistan too will use its home advantage for sure. India is also trying to get its combination right, while South Africa is as usual prepared to give a good fight to any opposition. England is trying hard to be ready as early as possible for the big day. It will be interesting to see how Sri Lanka and Afghanistan perform at this tournmanet.

As a Pakistani, I feel honoured and humbled to see international teams in Pakistan for the Championship Trophy. Pakistan is a cricket-loving nation and we want more and more international matches to be held in Pakistan.

I am sure international players will enjoy their time here in Pakistan. They will get to see our hospitality. I also appreciate the PCB for renovating our stadiums in a very short span of time and now it looks great.
