One of the most talked about films, “Sikandar,” failed to send cash registers ringing. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and national crush Rashmika Mandanna failed to create the magic as expected. I am a movie buff myself but seeing the response through media, I did not go to watch the film. I have recently heard film director Tigmanshu Dhulia talking about the method of making a film these days. He said filmmakers think of selling a film much before they even start making it.
All the superstars’ films get buyers very easily. As far as “Sikandar” is concerned I have heard that the director tried a lot to spice up the film to make it a super-hit. Some said it was a clear hint from the film “Ghajini.” Others feel the film was stuffed with lots of things which did not go well with the flow. It always happens when filmmakers try to put too many things in one film. I have heard the story got lost in between. A film should have a natural flow and that goes well with the audience.
