Summer calling

Summer seems to have started in the UAE. We had wonderful cold weather from November to March, even April is not bad. I enjoyed Ramadan this year because of lovely weather. Summer season has its own charm. We enjoy watermelon, cucumber and different types of salad. We also try lots of juices in this month. I feel more energetic after daily workout during the summer. Lots of people join swimming classes in the summer. The best part of summer is that the day starts very early. I can start my day around 5am, even driving is fun in the morning, while in the winter day starts after 6am.

During weekends I go for a long drive at 5.30 in the morning and return before even traffic starts. I have been living in the UAE for almost 18 years and every summer I wander around the UAE in my car during the weekend. Weather is also pleasant in the morning. My school-going daughter has a passion for photography, so she also comes with me carrying her camera. I love to visit places in the morning.
