The world seems bleak these days, when leaders are playing a tariff chess game, with their people as pawns. However we should hope for an era, where reason and poetry transcend the man-made boundaries created by history, wars and powerful leaders. A world, where political and land borders do not partition our minds and hearts.
We should work towards a world, where religion does not divide us, but provides a rationale for respecting all human beings. A world, where the strong are just and the frail are cared for. We can courageously hope for a world, where ships do not carry warheads, but food for the needy. We should expect a world, which is not divided by armies and nuclear weapons, but is unified by arts, music and literature from different cultures.
We must strive for a world where everyone has a job and can build his family and future. It takes two to three generations for any family to step out of poverty completely and become a middle or upper middle-class family. However, to raise a family a man needs a job and a home. Above all, we need to build a world, where we use dialogue and words, not guns, to solve problems. However, the right words can resolve conflicts and save humans.
