The Dhoni way!

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) managed to defeat Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Monday at the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) tournament. A one-sided match turned very interesting when legendary former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni came in to bat for his team. Dhoni had a very tough task – to pull out victory from that point but he finished off in style once again for his team. LSG skipper Rishabh Pant looked very confident when Dhoni came in to bat, but Dhoni and Shivam Dube kept their cool till the end of the match and defeated LSG by five wickets.

It was a wonderful match to watch. CSK is not doing well this year since the beginning and their failure has become the talk of the town, but in Monday’s match Dhoni showed his presence once again. I am sure CSK will bounce back from this point as they have done in the past. Monday’s win will boost their confidence for sure and those who had started writing off Dhoni after a few matches will now watch him with respect. We should not forget that there is nothing certain in the game of cricket.
