Emirates Water and Electricity Company (EWEC), has announced that ‘Noor Abu Dhabi’, the world’s largest single solar project, with a capacity of 1,177MW, has started commercial operation.
Aldar Properties (Aldar) announced on Tuesday, that contracts awarded across its development projects in 2021 reached more than Dhs8.5 billion.
Approximately 45 kilometres north of Abu Dhabi, the Taweelah project will be the first reverse osmosis independent water project in the capital which will desalinate seawater for supply to local communities and industry in the area.
