Aiming at attracting and retaining talents, the UAE updates the Golden Residence rules as a part of the new Entry and Residence Scheme. The scope of beneficiaries is expanded offering more benefits including 10 years renewable residence
The government clarified that if a person has an entry permit or a visa issued by Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, UAQ, RAK or Fujairah, he can check its validity, issuance and expiry date through the eChannel platform of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Security ports.

The general rule is that if an expatriate resident stays outside the UAE for more than 180 days continuously, his/her residence visa will be nullified automatically.
The Saudi General Directorate of Passports said the extension comes upon directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz. The extension will be automatic without the need to visit the migration authorities.
The ICP issues an entry visit visa for the purpose of tourism, and the guarantor or host within the country must be one of the tourist companies, after paying the prescribed fees and financial guarantee.
The authorities said that he/she is allowed to bring in 5 individuals if the monthly income is Dhs10,000, and 6 individuals if his monthly income is Dhs15,000.
