The UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed issued 11 federal decrees, ratifying agreements with a number of countries. The decrees were published in the latest issue of the Official Gazette.
The provisions of the Decree-Law apply to non-Muslim foreigners residing in the country unless someone adheres to the application of his country’s law.
The amendments aim to aggravate penalties for healthcare workers who practice the profession without obtaining a license and those who do not meet the requirements.
The Decree will be published in the official gazette and will be in effect from the date of its issuance.
The first article of Federal Decree No. 165 calls for convening the first ordinary session of the 18th legislative chapter on Monday morning, corresponding with 6th November 2023.
Sheikh Mohammed stressed that distinguished government service in the UAE is a right of the people, “we will not tolerate any negligence, and interacting with the public in a positive manner through service channels is a basic duty of every government official.
