Al Ain Court of First Instance obligated a person to return Dhs50,000 to another person, and also fined him Dhs5,000 after he took the amount from the latter under the pretext of investing it and promised to return it with a percentage of profit, but he did not fulfill his obligation.
The Abu Dhabi Court for Family and Civil and Administrative Cases rejected a lawsuit filed by an employee of a company in which he demanded to obligate his colleague to pay him Dhs570,000, and a delay interest of 12% from the date of the claim until full payment.
The convict was found guilty of premeditatedly killing a businessman and his wife, attempting to kill their daughter and stealing Dhs2,000, after he had broken into the victims’ villa in the Arabian Ranches area, Dubai.
The appellant said that the woman insulted him and sent him obscene words via WhatsApp. She was convicted for that incident according to a criminal ruling.
