Children demonstrated their Kung Fu skills at the Red Belt Club in the Muwailah area of Sharjah on Saturday. They were crowned champions after passing the promotion tests to obtain the advanced belts. The final contests took place in a festive atmosphere, watched by families of the players who wholeheartedly encouraged their children. At the end of the ceremony, keepsake photos of the players were taken with the party guests and the technical staff of the club.

Chairman of Dar Al Khaleej for Press, Printing and Publishing and Editor-in-chief of Al Khaleej newspaper Khalid Abdullah Taryam’s son, Taryam Khalid Taryam, who holds a blue Sash, won 1st prize in Shaolin Kung Fu at the Red Belt Club. The prize was handed over in the presence of Sifu Mujeeb and Sifu Showkath. Taryam Khalid Taryam gave a sparkling demonstration of his different Kung Fu styles, earning applause and respect.
Last year, Khalid Abdullah Taryam inaugurated the Chinese Martial Arts Shaolin Kung Fu Sash holders’ ceremony at the Red Belt Club.
Shaolin Kung Fu, also called Shaolin Wushu, is one of the oldest, largest, and most famous styles of Kung Fu. The discipline was developed in China. The name Shaolin is also used as a brand for the so-called external styles of Kung Fu. Many styles in southern and northern China use the name Shaolin.
