Polo patrons from the region's homegrown teams will come together for an exemplary display of sportsmanship on Friday.

Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club is proud to be a part of the Expo 2020 Dubai's calendar of events through a polo exhibition match — the Expo 2020 Dubai Cup.

Polo patrons from the region's homegrown teams will come together for an exemplary display of sportsmanship on November 12.

The Expo 2020 Dubai Cup will have three teams carrying the names; Terra, Alif and Opti, named after the Guardians of the three districts of the Expo 2020 Dubai site: Sustainability, Mobility and Opportunity.

Aside from the polo match, the club has prepared an afternoon filled with outdoor fun with great prizes up for grabs.

Mohammed Al Habtoor, Vice Chairman and CEO of Al Habtoor Group says, "We are honoured to be associated with Expo 2020 Dubai by hosting an event which highlights the strength, agility, teamwork and mastery in harmoniously working with a majestic creature such as a polo pony."

He added: "I am confident that the exhibition cup will showcase the brilliance of each team as they bring their passion onto the field."

The match will take place on the grounds of Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club.

The Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club is a state-of-the-art polo and equestrian community devoted to equine sports.

The Club is the home ground for the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series and several international-standard polo tournaments, equestrian competitions and events.
