His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, received the Sharjah Football Club team, who won the President's Cup championship for the tenth time in the history of the club.
During the meeting, which took place at the Qasr Al-Bahr Council in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed congratulated all the players, the technical and administrative staff, and the UAE football fans in general, wishing the team more domestic and foreign achievements, praising the outstanding performance witnessed in the final match and the spirit of high competition that entertained the fans.
The Sharjah Club delegation expressed their happiness at meeting Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed and thanked him for the support to the sports sector at various levels, and his direct and continuous follow-up to the athletes in the UAE in all kinds of sports to encourage and motivate them to continue achieving their goals.
The meeting at Qasr Al Bahr Council was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, Sheikh Khalid Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, representative of the Ruler in Al Ain region.
Sheikh Nahyan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works, Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and a number of sheikhs.
The Sharjah Club team was accompanied by Sheikh Muhammad Bin Saud Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Central Finance Department in Sharjah, Sheikh Muhammad Bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Head of the Department of Statistics and Community Development, Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, Ali Salem Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Club, and a number of officials.
