Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship offers spectacular experience for fans

Brace yourself for the most thrilling combat sports event of the year! The Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship (ADXC 1), in collaboration with the AJP, is about to set the stage on fire, promising an unforgettable spectacle for fight fans.

The first-of-its-kind event will bring the strategy and intricacies of jiu-jitsu together with the raw intensity of MMA, all designed to make way for aggressive play. ADXC makes its debut on October 20, 2023, at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi.

ADXC 1 is pulling out all the stops, featuring a main card that will have fight fans on the edge of their seats. With two main events and two co-main events, this is a battle royale like no other. Renowned jiu-jitsu and MMA athletes will square off in five rounds of three minutes each, delivering an electrifying experience. The event will then travel to major cities around the world for a period of two years, and champions who amass the most points during the season will be crowned winners.

Prepare for an epic showdown as Bellator fighter Neiman Gracie faces off against former UFC and WEC champion Ben Henderson.

Gracie carries the legacy of the Gracie name and his uncle, the legendary Renzo Gracie, while Henderson relies on his versatile skill set, including wrestling tools, aiming to secure victory with his formidable guillotine.

A fierce rivalry unfolds as DreamArt leader Isaque Bahiense takes on Atos’ Gustavo Batista in the Gi Main Event. Bahiense holds the upper hand, having defeated Batista in previous encounters, but Batista seeks redemption and aims to overcome his rival in this epic clash.

Emirati jiu-jitsu black belt and gold medal winner during the 14th Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship is another prominent name in the intriguing lineup. He will be facing Brazilian Thalison Soares in a Gi Super Fight.
