Dibba Classic Sports Challenge will take place from July 18-21 in Fujairah.

The organising committee of the Dibba Classic Sports Challenge Festival has approved the schedule and official timings for the event scheduled to take place from July 18-21 at the Creativity Center Theater in Fujairah.

The organising committee finalised the schedule in accordance with the agreement with Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (EBBF).

Salem Alsereidi, head of the organising committee, stated that the festival will witness the Arab Arm Wrestling Championship on July 18, while the following day will be dedicated to registration and weighing for bodybuilding and fitness championships.

He appreciated the support of Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation.

Salem Alsereidi also hailed the support of members and technical committees. He said that the festival's location in Fujairah is a fitting tribute to the emirate's illustrious reputation in sports across the board, including championship hosting and organisation.

The head of the organising committee added that the UAE Championship will take place on July 20, which will be dedicated to citizen and resident players in all weights approved by the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation.

The Dibba Classic Challenge in its sixth edition will be held the following day, open to all nationalities.

Captain Zwaid Salmeen Al Zaabi, national bodybuilding team’s technical director, described the UAE Bodybuilding Championship, held concurrently with the Dibba Classic Sports Challenge, as an important and distinguished event.

He urged players to participate, noting that the best players would be selected to join the national team to compete in the West Asia Championships and the Arab Championship. He also appreciated the efforts of the festival's organising committee.
