Dubai International Parachuting Championship attracts participants from 20 nations

The countdown has begun for the 8th edition of the Dubai International Parachuting Championship (DIPC), which is set to take place November 28 to December 5, 2024, at Skydive Dubai.
Organised by the Emirates Aerosports Federation, the much-anticipated Dubai International Parachuting Championship will be held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence.
The event will be held with the support of the Dubai Sports Council. This year's championship promises to be a spectacular event, featuring participation from 20 countries.
The event is set to showcase the best in parachuting talent and competition.
The organising committee of DIPC 2024 has decided to change the location of the Precision Target Championship competitions to Al Sufouh Beach.
This picturesque and safe location is considered ideal for the participants, providing a stunning backdrop and optimal conditions while the water-skiing championship competitions will be held at Skydive Dubai as usual.
Yousef Al Hammadi, the Director of the DIPC Organising Committee, highlighted the meticulous planning and efforts that have gone into preparing for this prestigious event. He announced the selection of 26 experienced referees who will oversee the activities of the two competitions, ensuring that the events run smoothly and fairly.
"We are excited to welcome athletes and spectators from around the world to Dubai for the 8th edition of the Dubai International Parachuting Championship. Our team has worked tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of the event is meticulously planned and executed. The change to Al Sufouh Beach for the Precision Target Championship competitions reflects our commitment to providing the best possible experience for our participants," said Hammadi.
The championship will feature a series of thrilling events, including formation skydiving, canopy piloting, and accuracy landing, among others. The combination of world-class athletes, breathtaking locations, and the spirit of competition promises to make DIPC 2024 an unforgettable event for everyone involved.
