Five teams competed fiercely in the AHPC November League at the grounds of Al Habtoor Polo Club.
The league kicked off with an intense opening match between PBS and Cerberus-KMK, with Cerberus emerging victorious.
The action continued with a thrilling round robin match featuring AM Polo, Mehran, and Wolves, showcasing incredible skill and teamwork throughout.
The exhilarating opening match between PBS Polo and Cerberus-KMK started with a slow first chukka as players warmed up, but the momentum quickly shifted once the first goal was scored, sparking dynamic plays from both teams.
Cerberus showcased skillful drives led by Tomy Iriarte, while PBS displayed impressive teamwork, with notable contributions from Finn and Petra. By the fourth chukka, PBS found their rhythm, evening the score at 3-3 and heightening the suspense.
Despite PBS's determined efforts and cohesive plays, Cerberus maintained their composure, demonstrating resilience and executing decisive defensive strategies. Their teamwork ultimately secured them a hard-fought victory as the winners of the league’s opening match.
This AHPC League included a round robin match in polo as a thrilling tournament format where three teams compete in shorter games within the same match.
For the AHPC November League, the teams participated pated were: Team A: AM Polo (Sheika Alya Al Maktoum, Ciro Urturi, Ramiro Zavaleta and Pali Urquiza), Team B: Mehran: (Danny Hashmi, Karim Drif, JJ Diaz Alberdi and Tomy Iriarti), Team C: Wolves: (Habtoor Al Habtoor, Nico Petracchi, Juan Guevara and Guillermo Cuitino)
Each team competed in two short games (typically two or three chukkers), with the title awarded to the team with the most wins or the highest goal difference across all matches.
Mehran took the honours, claiming the championship in this thrilling and fast-paced format that kept both players and spectators on the edge of their seats.
