The competition features three separate championships, showcasing the diversity and innovation in indoor skydiving.
The second phase of the championship is scheduled to take place at the Skydive Dubai from January 25 to 26, featuring outdoor free fall skydiving competitions.
The opening day of the championship was attended by Yousef Hassan Al Hammadi, Vice President of the Emirates Aerosports Federation; Mohammed Youssef Abdulrahman, Secretary General of the federation; and Hussein Al-Hassni — Deputy General Manager of CLYMB Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
Hammadi emphasized that hosting the championship in its two phases across Abu Dhabi and Dubai under the federation's umbrella reflects the federation's extensive efforts to develop and promote air sports to the widest possible audience.
He pointed out that the broad participation of 200 top global athletes in wind tunnel skydiving enriches the competition and reflects the international community's confidence in the UAE's organizational capabilities.
