With poise, precision, and an unbreakable bond with her magnificent steed, Gabrielle Sol'Heure, Nadia delivered a masterclass in skill and speed. Her first phase was a display of sheer perfection—flawless and breathtakingly fast at 34.51 seconds.
Yet, it was in the heart-pounding jump-off that she truly soared, carving through the course with lightning speed to clock an astonishing 22.71 seconds.
A triumph of grace, power, and unrelenting determination, Nadia’s victory was more than just a win—it was a statement, a testament to her brilliance in the saddle.
Germany’s seasoned veteran, David Will aboard Dream Star One, finished mere fractions of a second behind Nadia.
Great Britain’s rising talent, Joseph Stockdale, riding Billy Santorini, completed the first round in a swift 32.60 seconds.
However, a jump-off time of 23.17 seconds saw him settle for third place.
The CSI5*-W championship is being held under the patronage of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and the Ruler of Sharjah, and supported by Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
Recently, Nadia emerged victorious after a nail-biting two-horse jump-off, finishing clear in 41.92 seconds riding Gabrielle Sol’heure at the CSI2* Grand Prix 1.45m Jump-Off presented by Abu Dhabi Sports Council, which saw 44 starters.
The event was part of the 8th Al Shira’aa International Horse Show held in Abu Dhabi last month.
The HH Sharjah Ruler Cup kicked off at the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club on Thursday and will conclude on February 23.
Meanwhile, Abdelkebir Ouaddar emerged victorious in the highly anticipated 1.40m Grand Prix qualifier.
The seasoned rider from Morocco, known for his remarkable horsemanship, soared to the top spot with the stunning 13-year-old SF mare, Ceika Malouine.
Chasing him down was Bekzod Kurbanov, whose determination and precision on Santos Hippica ensured a nail-biting finish.
The pair, riding the 11-year-old gelding Santos Hippica, showcased both speed and agility in their bid for the top spot. Despite their best efforts, the combination fell just short of first place, but their performance was strong enough to earn them a third-place finish.
Belgium’s Constant van Paesschen, riding Kismet, finished in second place.
Not far behind in fourth place was UAE’s Hazza Hamad Aldhaheri, who made an impressive appearance with the talented Arezzo VDL son, Eloy.
Meanwhile, in an exhilarating showdown, Germany's Sophie Hinners displayed masterful control and precision to outpace the field, claiming victory in the CSI5* 1.50m Grand Prix P qualifier.
Aboard Iron Dames Singclair, Hinners’ flawless performance sealed the victory after clearing the in 63.45 seconds.
Following closely behind in second was Britain's Lily Attwood, who was riding Karibou Horta.
Russia’s Vladimir Tuganov settled for third spot.
Just off the podium in fourth place was UAE's Ali Hamad Al Kirbi.
A total of 169 riders from 37 countries are participating in the HH Sharjah Ruler Cup International Show Jumping Championship CSI5*-W, with a prize pool exceeding €500,000.
