The Dubai Club for People of Determination Ramadan Festival concluded with festivities and awards to winners of sports, cultural, and community events as well as success partners of the event – sponsors, contributors, and volunteers.
The Stars team won the five-a-side football title while the administrators took the volleyball title even as the girls' basketball title went to Al Wasl.
Thani Juma Berregad, Chairman of the Dubai Club for People of Determination, expressed his happiness on the success and diversity of the festival, appreciating the achievements of People of Determination in all fields.
He described the People of Determination as people of high ambition who have changed the minds of others and embodied the noble spirit of sportsmanship through this festival.
Berregad thanked the success partners and the parents of the festival participants, who encouraged their children to participate in such important community events, enabling this edition of the festival to achieve its desired goals.

Majid Al Usaimi, Executive Director of the Club and Director of the Festival, emphasised that the festival's coincidence with the Year of Community 2025 embodies the strengthening of ties, the preservation of cultural heritage and the creation of inclusive environments where the values of social responsibility flourish.
He too expressed his joy on the success of the event, especially since the wise leadership represents a source of inspiration for everyone in transforming disability into energy.
Usaimi also commended the efforts of the various working teams, led by Fawzia Al Balushi, Assistant Executive Director and Director of the Cultural and Community Activities Department, the athletes, their parents, success partners and volunteers.
“The People of Determination are always up to the challenge. The pride we saw in the eyes of the participants and their commitment to their community role confirms the achievement of the desired goals,” he pointed out. Usaimi concluded looking forward to preserving these gains to the next edition of the festival.
