The Hatta Ramadan Tournament concluded with great success, marked by intense competition and a remarkable turnout, reaffirming its status as one of the most prominent community sports events in the Hatta region during the Holy month of Ramadan.
Organized with the support of the Supreme Committee for the Development of Hatta and in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council, the tournament witnessed widespread participation and high praise for its exceptional organization and competitive atmosphere.
This year’s edition, held as part of the "Ramadan in Dubai" campaign, saw a record number of participants competing in ten different sports disciplines, including football, men's volleyball, women's volleyball, beach volleyball (men), e-sports, running race, senior citizens’ walking event, weightlifting, women's badminton, and tug-of-war.
In the football tournament, Al Saeqa team claimed the title after a strong performance, defeating Al Watan, while Wadi Al Qor finished third. In the corporate category, the Hatta Customs team emerged victorious, outperforming the Hatta Border Passports team, while Dubai Police took third place.
In the men's volleyball competition, Only Fresh clinched the title, surpassing On Plan, while Al Hajrain secured third place.
Meanwhile, the open-category women's volleyball championship saw a fierce competition, with Zabeel crowned as champions, followed by Spiker in second place and Khorfakkan in third.
In the Under-18 girls' category, Kalba secured the top spot, followed by Net Champion in second place, while Hatta Girls finished third.
In the junior category, Aam Al Mujtama clinched first place, with Hatta Youth Council finishing as runners-up, and Al Hajrain securing third place.
In the beach volleyball championship, Al Ameed took the first-place title, while Al Nusour finished second, and the Dream Team secured third place.
The e-sports competition saw Abdullah Saif claim the top spot in the individual category, while he also won the doubles category alongside Saif Maeed.
Abdullah Al Saeed emerged victorious in the rising talents category for players under 15 years old.
The weightlifting competitions showcased outstanding performances. Khamis Hassan Ghazwan secured first place in the Bench Press under 75kg category, while Abdullah Jumaa Al Kaabi won the 75 to 90kg category.
The over 90kg title went to Abdullah Ghanem. In the Deadlift category, Essa Saeed Mohammed won in the Under 75 kg division, Mohammed Mahmoud Hafez took first place in the Under 90 kg category, and Maher Khalil triumphed in the over 90 kg division.
In the highly competitive tug-of-war event, team A25GYM claimed the championship title after a thrilling final against team Al Aqrab, who finished as runners-up, while Dhiab 11 secured third place.
In the women's badminton competition, Mashaer Ibrahim Suleiman claimed first place in the open singles category, while Ghareeba Issa Al Balushi won the Emirati players’ category.
In the Under-15 open category, Maria Abdullah Murshed secured the top position, while Rayan Ali Al Badwawi won the Under-15 Emirati players’ category.
The running race witnessed remarkable performances, with Obaid Al Nuaimi winning the Emirati men’s category, Khalid Al Badwawi claiming first place in the Hatta Emirati men’s category, and Molisa Weifen securing the open men's category title.
In the women's division, Hamda Al Ali emerged as the top Emirati runner, while Dereba Chaleto triumphed in the open women's category.
Among the Under-18 Emirati boys, Abdul Latif Al Sabri took first place, while Hamad Al Badwawi won in the Hatta Emirati youth category, and Jamie Adil topped the open youth category. In the Under-18 open girls’ category, Garret Macy secured first place.
In the Under-13 Emirati boys' category, Salem Al Darmaki finished first, while Khalifa Amer Bin Dha’an won in the Hatta Emirati boys' category. In the open category, Syed Shihabuddin clinched first place. Among Emirati girls, Shouq Ahmed emerged victorious, while Al Joud Hamad Al Badwawi won the Hatta Emirati girls' category, and Siva Balan Sriba took first place in the open category.
