Dubai Municipality refutes rumours about Maggie cube

Dubai Municipality inspects all imported, local food shipments and ensures they are fit for consumption.
The Dubai Municiplity has debunk the rumours about Maggie cubes containing harmful ingrdients.
The ongoing rumors claims that Maggie cubes contain chicken intestines, nails and sodium glutamate, which has a dangerous effect on the brain cells of children, liver and kidney.
According to Dubai Municipality the claim is not based on any scientific reference or official health source.
The authority added that food additives in the Sodium Glutamate are authorized based on the UAE standard and international standards such as the Codex Alimentarius & European Standards.
The Dubai Municipality inspects all imported and local food shipments and ensures they are all fit for human consumption.
