So this week our very own Saleha Irfan, who could also be head chef of the world, has taken us on a mango filled adventure in the kitchen with several delicious recipes to try this weekend.
Mango rice pudding sounds delicious, especially in this heat just now. It’s quite easy to make, providing you don’t overcook the milk which can be easy to do. It tastes even better when garnished with mango cubes, chopped almonds and pistachios. This needs to be served chilled.
The no-bake mango cheesecake will have you cheesecake fans running to the kitchen. Easy to make, all you need is a food processor, this mango cheesecake with a digestive biscuit base and pureed mango sounds heavenly. In fact, it sounds so simple that I might even give it a go myself. I could not be head chef of anywhere.
In other news this week, turn to our Fitness pages to learn how to become a cyclist. We know the weather doesn’t help, but early mornings and evenings are still not bad at all so we can’t complain. I’ve noticed that a lot of people have taken up cycling recently and it’s good to know how to set off on the right peddle.
On our Travel pages we have listed some places to visit that have the lowest infection rates just now. But one has to ask, is it really worth it? There are some stunning places on the list including Greece and New Zealand, but the whole process of airports and airplanes is actually scary. Would you risk it? Give us your thoughts on the matter.
