We are only the second week into 2022 and the amount of people who I have heard are on different types of diets is astonishing. It makes laugh because they are the same bunch of people who are constantly on diets but never seem to lose weight. This week we bring you something different. We are giving you nine science-backed ways to lose weight that don’t involve starving yourself.
People need to understand that not eating or depriving themselves of food while trying to lose weight has the opposite effect in the end. Your metabolism ends up slowing down as you lose weight, making it even it harder to lose more weight. One of the simplest, yet most effective tips is to get enough sleep. Yes, your read that correctly. A lack of sleep makes you reach for bad foods. Being sleepy causes the region of the brain that tells us when we are full to become lazy.
Another very simple way to lose weight is to stay hydrated. Our bodies can interpret thirst for hunger causing us to eat more. Always have a bottle of water with you. There are these water jugs available with timings on them that show you what you should be drinking throughout the day. I know, they have been made fun of on social media, but they do the job. I have one so I know.
Another tip is to work out in the morning. Apparently, you burn up to two per cent more body fat if you work out on an empty stomach. I have tried this numerous times, it is difficult. I feel I need fuel to exercise. Of course, it is not just morning work outs, it’s all work outs. There are a whole load of benefits to having a regular exercise routine.
