The UAE Health Ministry conducted 38,000 COVID-19 tests, which revealed 393 new cases bringing the total number of cases to 44,145.

The Ministry also announced that two people who tested positive for COVID-19 died due to complications. This brings the total death toll to 300.

The new cases identified are undergoing treatment and are in stable condition.

The ministry said total number of recovered cases of coronavirus has reached 30,996 with 755 cases recovered on Friday after receiving treatment.

National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) is urging members of the public to refer only to UAE Government websites and official social media platforms to confirm the announcements regarding travel protocols for citizens and residents of the country.

NCEMA has stressed the importance of obtaining news from the official authorities and called on all public to ensure the authenticity of the information before circulation. Individuals who spread incorrect information and rumors will be exposed to legal repercussions and fines will be applied.
