Sheikha Fatima honours distinguished female graduates of UAEU, ZU and HCT

Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak (The Mother of the Nation), Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), has honoured the 2024 distinguished female graduates from the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), Zayed University (ZU) and the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT). This included UAEU's 43th cohort, ZU's 22nd cohort and HCT's 33rd cohort, who graduated with the highest distinction.

In a message addressing the graduates, Sheikha Fatima congratulated these exemplary women, encouraging them to stay on the path of knowledge acquisition.

Each of the graduates received a dedicated special letter by Sheikha Fatima, as well as a financial reward for their achievements.

Dr Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Education, commended the contributions of Sheikha Fatima to advance education in the UAE and boost its global competitiveness and quality.

For his part, Zaki Nusseibeh, Cultural Adviser to the UAE President and Chancellor of the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), expressed his pride in the excellence achieved by these women.

Shamma Bint Suhail Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Community Development and Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed University, said that the future of the UAE is in the hands of such women, who are capable of competing on a global scale while maintaining their national identity, embodying the dream and vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and H.H. Sheikha Fatima.

Dr Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation and HCT Chancellor, affirmed that the UAE's sons and daughters are the future, as they are the foundation and driver of shaping a brighter tomorrow for generations to come.
