Abu Dhabi Customs wins 6 gold awards in New York City

The General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs has won six gold awards at the 2024 Harvard Business Council International (HBCI) Awards, based in New York City, USA, for its excellence in applying the best international practices and standards of quality and institutional excellence.

A delegation from the awards organiser, headed by Dr Ayman Taha, representative of Harvard Business Council International Awards in the Middle East and North Africa, presented the awards during their visit to the headquarters of Abu Dhabi Customs in Masdar City.

The delegation was welcomed by Fahd Ghareeb Al Shamsi, Executive Director of the Support Services Sector at Abu Dhabi Customs, along with several department managers and employees.

Abu Dhabi Customs won the Human Resources Award, the Innovation Award, the Smart Application Award in the Information Technology category, the Procurement Award in the Service Management category, the Executive Award in the Human Resources category, and the Executive Award in the Strategic Development category.

These prestigious awards reflect the dedication and efforts of the teams at Abu Dhabi Customs to achieve their strategic vision and establish global leadership. They also align with government directives and enhance Abu Dhabi’s global position as a premier destination for investment and business. The Harvard Business Council International Awards are among the most prestigious international awards, developed based on the concept of total quality management.
