Emirati actor Dhaen Juma Al Tamimi, a drama pioneer in the UAE, who contributed to the progress of the Emirati and Gulf drama, has passed away.
The Emirati actor, who was born in 1949, began his career in 1971 and presented many dramas for the theatre and television.
He belonged to the first generation alongside other actors including but not limited to Sultan Al Shaer, Mohammed Al Janahi and Jaber Nagmoosh.
His dramatic works included Qawm Antar (Antar’s People), Al Jeeran (The Neighbours) and Dhilal Al Madhi (The Shades of the Past).
