The father of Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, wife of Jordanian Crown Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah II, died on Sunday. The Jordanian Royal Court mourned the death of Khaled Bin Musaed Bin Saif Bin Abdulaziz Al Saif, the father of Princess Rajwa.

Jordanian King Abdullah II said that the Royal Court declared mourning for the deceased for a period of three days, starting Sunday (Feb.18, 2024).

The Royal Court expressed its sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein, the royal family, the family of the deceased, and the Al Saif family, regarding this affliction.

Rajwa's late father Khalid was born in 1953.

He is married to Azza Bint Nayef Abdulaziz Ahmed Al-Sudairi, and has 4 children: Faisal, Nayef, Dana, and Princess Rajwa.

The origin of the Al Saif family goes back to the Subaie tribe, who are the sheikhs of the town of Al-Attar in Sudair, Najd, since the beginning of the reign of King Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The Sudair tribe is one of the largest tribes in several regions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as a group of them lived in Al-Attar, and the Princes of Al-Attar were from the Saif family, and the title of prince continued to be used until the past few years.

Princess Rajwa's father graduated from the American University of Beirut with a degree in civil engineering, where he founded the Al Saif Contracting Engineers Company, which is now one of the largest contracting companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in addition to several companies in different sectors.
