Students protest for a fresh round of the NEET exam in New Delhi.

This refers to the verdict of the Supreme Court on Neet Exams., which is a real blow to the India bloc, especially the Congress Party leader, Rahul Gandhi. Though the Neet was the original baby of Congress, who were supported by the DMK, the then alliance partner of UPA tenures.

Ironically, on the eve of the Assembly Elections in 2021, the DMK chief took a hostile stand, mainly to garner the votes of youngsters. Having given a false hope to the TN students, the DMK is now batting on a sticky wicket, in which the Congress too have glued themselves. Now the Supreme Court has given its verdict against the cancellation of the exams, and a retest, holding that there was no evidence to conclude that it was “vitiated”.

We hope that the India bloc and its alliance partners would take steps to improve the coaching of their students to compete in the Neet Exam at the national level, in future.
